Campaign Effects:
[ The climate has shifted. The skies have darkened, storms seem more powerful, and a foul mist is omnipresent upon the sea every dawn and dusk for a few hours.]
[ Port Royal has been devastated by an earthquake from a volcanic eruption.]
Hockney and his crew arrive in Tortuga to find that a battle between the mortal inhabitants and the undead Ghoul Lord Francois "the Flail" L'Olonnais and his minions has broken out across the pirate port.
Taking stock of the situation the Crew decide to join forces with a privateer by the name of "Admiral" Gregor. The old scotsman leads a stron band of hearty ex-buccaneers and marines. Together they plan an attack on the old fort where the "the Flail" has taken up residence.
The dawn of the 18th sees the group move on the fortress in the hopes that attacking by day will put the undead at a disadvantage.
Zombies and skeletons are fought and the battle starts to favor the undead, when in a last ditch effort Hockney leads a desperate charge against "the Flail" himself! Many good men are lost and a Doctor or two as well, but in the end the mortals are victorious.
Hockney and crew debate thier next move.....
